Today I’ve loaded rhe new site of my band, RadioLondra, which takes its name from the BBC radio programmes which broadcasted war bullettins in italian language during 2nd W.W.. Italian People listened to this Radio to obtain trustworthy information about the real development of battles and the movements of the fronts, in contrast to the propagandistic and enthusiastic lies of the official axis’ media.
My band-mates like to say that this name is related to the big influence of British Rock-Music on our songs and sound. In fact having a name like this in Italy could make people think of you like a left side, communist band, which some of my mates would not like at all. Anyway our songs are not politics correlated.
Anyway I like to think about the name RadioLondra beyond the musical aspect.
BBC made a great job and helped people returning to reality and facing the lies they’ve been after for so long.
I like to think that even in the darkest time of humankind truth is strong enought to survive the aberration and the horror (whatever is truth).
Maybe better, freedom of thought and of information can not be really deleted.
Being so entropy correlated from the theoretical point of view I think that information cannot be completely withheld. It simply happens, sooner or later.
After these useless considerations, back to RadioLondra’s site. It’s almost empty for now. It’s based on wordpress.org. And it’s here, above all.
